I have had quite a few college communication classes in college and have learned how and when to use a voice for something like prose, and a debate voice, a voice for humorous. I was on the forensics team and had to have a different tone and attitude in my voice for each group I participated in. I participated in prose, humorous, parlimentary debate, impromptue speaking.
At this moment I have no equipment, but I will find a studio or get access to needed equipment as soon as possible.
I have taught swim lessons and children and teenagers and have needed to use different voices to get them to do what I wanted and show them the respect they deserve. I have worked in the medical field talking to patients and giving reassurance and comfort while also communicating with doctors in a professional voice. I am a mom of 4 children and a grandmother of 2 and I can speak to them on their levels...my children range from 18-28 and my grandchildren 3 months to 3 years. I have consulted with doctors offices as to how they can improve their practice and that takes a take charge attitude voice. I also have learned to get my way by using different types of voices, which could be whiney, innocent, dumb, or having an "attitude".
