My Voice Experience
If there was ever a word that could describe me and my vocal abilities, it would be consistent. Being in radio (30 years)prepared me for doing a lot of different style reads, so I've managed to tackle just about every one with whatever the job called for. For the last 20 years, I've devoted all of my attention to radio production, so I'm right in the firing line when it comes to vocal work, often volunteering to take a crack at the tough jobs. After spending the last 19 years with one radio company in south Texas, i jumped over to Clear Channel, and haven't skipped a beat.
My Training
First and foremost, I've got to thank the good people of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, who took a skinny kid with a so-so voice, and inspired him to keep focused on what made him happy. While voice overs were commonplace in radio, I learned a little more about the complexity of the human voice, and how it can play a part in making or breaking someone's venture. 30 years in radio, and specifically 20 in radio production, have kept me fine tuned to what clients want when it comes to getting that all important read just right.

Additional Skills
One of the other things that I've done in the past 20 years is write. And write fairly well. Well enough to win several Addy awards in the 10th District. Many of those awards were won by being writer, producer and talent. I continue to write today, and am always looking for ways to creatively showcase my work.
