Voice Description

I have can have a different pitch and tone to my voice depending on what I am trying to get across. My voice can be calming or in can be motivating. My voice is mild to lower pitch tone. Most people say I have a voice for radio. My voice can be jazz smooth, upbeat, instructional, sexy. I have done voice projects for corporate trainings and company voice mail.

This is a new venture for me and I would love the opportunity to discover more projects.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have never tried accents because I have a very keen ear when actors are forcing an accent. It is a tick of mine when I hear and accent that is done poorly. I like to respect others dialect and class and I would only try something like that with proper training

My Voice Experience

This is my first step forward into looking into using my voice. I have done instructional training videos for corporate clients. Currently most of my training is live over the phone through Webinars. I have done recorded business messages. I have been asked if I was ever on the radio, if I would consider it.

Even on the street live I have been stopped and told how beautiful my speaking voice is ... it catches someone's ear.

I have a voice for a travel channel, adult contemporary music, children’s books, corporate business training, message. I guess I would have to admit I also have a voice for sin too...

As I begun recordings it made me think alot about pitch, delievery and range. I don't know how full my range is but I would like to find out.

Additional Skills

A short but funny story (to me anyway)...

Few years ago I was invovled with piloting a Cessna 172 aircraft. While I was coming in on final approach the guy ATC was trying to flirt...commenting on my voice. I had to avoid his question and ask him if I could get permission to land because he still didn't clear the previous plane off the runway.
