My Voice Experience

I was a radio and television newscaster for more than 15 years. I have been the voice that greeted callers for Charter Communications, PCC Chemax, A & R Screen Prints and St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. I’ve voiced presentations that were played at awards ceremonies for the Urban League of the Upstate, and the Whitney M. Young Awards Gala. My voice was used often by Charter Communications Media division for commercials such as Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, BMW Pro Am Golf Tournament, and various businesses or to tag spots such as the North Carolina lottery, and many charity sponsored events.

My Training

I graduated with a degree in communications/broadcasting and worked as a radio and television journalist.

My Studio Equipment

I'm working on building a studio in my house that would include a mixer board, microphone and microphone processor and CD player.

Additional Skills

I'm a public relations consultant and I’ve worked as a public relations manager and promotions director; I’ve lent my skill and knowledge to non-profit agencies and churches working to get publicity for their events; I’ve written news releases and copy for spots. As a PR manager and pomotions director, I’ve planned and executed events, including cable channel launches, ribbon cuttings and fundraisers.
