My Voice Experience

I have over 20 years of experience in entertaining and reading aloud to children. An animated, enthusiastic voice is essential, and I really give it my all! (You should hear my version of "The 3 Little Pigs"!)
On the other end of the spectrum, I also have almost 10 years of experience in telephone work: as a market researcher, administrative assistant, in customer service, and even telemarketing.
I do not have any professional recording experience, but I am confident that my work experience would make me a viable candidate for a variety of voice-over and/or recording work.

My Training

I do not have any direct voice over training.
However, I have several courses in children's literature, which included methodology for reading aloud effectively, as well as call center training.

Additional Skills

I have an excellent phone voice and manner.
My main career was as a child care director, and I have spent over 20 years working with children.
In high school, I was involved with the drama department, and while I never pursued acting, I do have a touch of the actress in me (which is why I get so enthused when conducting story time).
