Voice Description

I can do a warm voice for narrations. I can do sexy for commercials, I am from Texas, so I can add a little more Texas or Southern draw which some people seem to like. I can do smooth and professional for presentations.

I trained and competed in Prose Reading throughout school, and based on this experience I feel I could offer some experience especially for audio books, and possibly TV shows or movies as well.

Currently I run a website in which I create Christian Meditation MP3s, and I use Audacity for this production activity.

My Voice Experience

I have been using my voice since the fourth grade when I had to read a short story in front of the class. I practiced and practiced, until the day finally came. The story started on a rocky note, but soon I had the class in the palm of my hand. It was a bit of a heady beginning.

From there, I became interested in Prose Reading competition, and competed until my senior year winning my district, and just falling short at regionals to be able go on to compete at state.

After high school I attended a travel school in Dallas, which was a catapult for my experience in Hotel and Apartment management.

Due to my management experience with hotels and apartments, I was eligible to work for the State Of Texas as a Eligibility Specialist. This position required me to interview clients seven hours a day, four to five days a week.

My management and eligibility experience consisted of extensive customer service, interviewing and telephone work.

I now use my voice creating meditation MP3's. If you are interested in a visit, There you will be able to pick a subject, which will take you to a page where you can download a variety of meditation MP3s all of which I have recorded and produced.

My Training

Please see the note above. My experience and training have basically been related to my Prose Reading experience throughout school and my customer service and telephone training related to my hotel and apartment management, and eligibility specialist experience.

My Studio Equipment

I currently record my own MP3s with music background using Audacity on my computer. I am by no means a true producer, but enjoy manipulating my own homemade MP3s for my website.

Additional Skills

Other than the skills listed above, I would like you to know that you can rely on me. I do my best job when given one and I am not intimidated by a learning curve.

I enjoy new challenges and I also like working with people. I have worked for myself for over ten years now and have a complete and quiet home office.
