My Voice Experience

I currently co-present a weekly magazine-style programme on Swindon 105.5 Community Radio: some articles, which I record and edit, have great emphasis on disability access issues and others have a huge fun element. I did short, introductory pieces and the occasional interview article for children in my job as a sound recordist for National Talking Newspapers. Over many years I have given presentations and fund-raising talks for various charities.

My Training

I am currently taking part in Gary Terzza's VoMasterClass. In 1992 I completed a BA degree in theatre arts/English and for four years ran a drama workshops business.

PC with Goldwave editing software, microphone.

Additional Skills

I write short dramas for church groups and act in them often.
I have given lectures and presentations at seminars and for fundraising purposes.
I used to belong to a club that taught circus skills and am keen on pursuits such as rock climbing and trampolining.
Cooking is something I very much enjoy as are crafts like ceramics and mosaic.
I have recently performed in the chorus of a musical about a Swindon poet, , Alfred Williams, called The Hammerman.
