My Voice Experience

I started creating characters and voices as a member of the original Kentucky Fried Theater improv comedy group. I started doing voice over work as a result of KFT. Started out doing lots of commercials recorded on...Tape! No, really... Over the years I have used my voice ("Put your money where my mouth is" was one of my pitches) in NYC, Wisconsin, Florida,Texas and now Las Vegas as:
*the voice for Bass Performance Hall, Texas (10 years), doing their radio/TV show promos as well as the Hall announce system and telephone system
*commercials: The Smith Center for the Performing Arts,Realty World, Dockers, Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, Lucinda Williams, Glenn Campbell, Ballet de Monte Carlo and many more
*Corporate narrative: Southwest Water Authority, Pratt and Whitney, Alcon and more
*Non-profit narrative:opera company recordings, Catholic Charities, Planned Parenthood, Comprehensive Cancer Center and more
*children's narratives: StarLab education program and stories

My Studio Equipment

I have a recording studio with an audio technica AT2020 condenser mic, Centrance MicPort and Audacity recording program. I do not have an ISDN line but have easy access to a studio that has one.

Additional Skills

I have been doing voice over for many years and have worked successfully with many directors. I have a keen ability to hear, take direction, change it up accordingly and I am a nice person and easy to work with..so I've been told. I read well, I can edit copy, tighten things up if time requires, make changes quickly and efficiently.
I am currently a teaching artist for Wolf Trap and the Smith Center for the Performing Arts and as such I have been writing, producing and performing children's theater pieces. I have been working with children in the theater arts for over 35 years. I love working with children and I love reading children's stories!
