more serious for such required work, but also have a good sense of humor and timing.

My Voice Experience
As a broadcaster I am very aware that people get meaning or a feeling from what they "hear." I have always enjoyed touching people with my voice...over the airways and evoking an emotion or reaction. I feel a microphone is like whispering directly in to
someone's ear. Even though you are electronically broadcasting, I can jump thru the
mic and in to a person's life.
I can use my voice to do many different styles. I can be sultry, or loud and crazy. I can
be serious or a character. I have done special reports, commercials, PSA's and voice on hold.
My Training
I was a theatre student in college who turned to radio. I have a BA in communications. I have worked on air in radio for over the past 20 years. I have also worked with a voice
coach. I am a singer so can use my voice in many different ways. I have delivered newscasts and showbiz reports.
My Studio Equipment
I have a MAC and Garage band and a high quality microphone. I have also done work
at several nearby studios with sound proof booths and high end mixing equipment.
Additional Skills
I have been using my voice for work for over 20 years. I have been an on air radio show host in a major market for most of that time. I have done live commercials, pre-recorded commercials and promos as well as delivered newscasts and special reports.
I am also creative and imaginative with a flexible voice that can do many different styles. My voice has often been described as "pleasant and friendly" but I can also take it down to be deep and sultry, or high and crazy.
