My Voice Experience

My voice is put to work as a promotional/event brand ambassador, and sales rep. when I have the opportunity to deal with clients in person. As a bar/restaurant online account representative, I rely solely on the quality of my voice to work with and capture the attention of busy owners throughout my state. I have little recorded experience less a focus group moderator project and my phone rapport. My day to day voice has often been complimented and/or commented on positively.

My Training

Public speaking at Longwood University at different executive levels of academic organizations, numerous speaking-intensive psychology classes, and student representation activism forums for dialogue between student body and administration. I have academic knowledge about voice over work only in the arena of Consumer Psychology. That arena, though, offers much information that can be very positively applied to voice over work.

Before (I like that I wrote this and so I will keep it)
I am a psychology major very involved in my field and my department. My concentration is in social psychology and the understanding of voice and the different perceptions of speech are discussed and emphasized.

Presently
As an independent contractor, I work various, unrelated events for different national companies doing promotions and branding. I also have a consistent promotional position with a wellness centre where acupuncture, massage and chiropractic services are offered.

My employee jobs consist of a job as a children's fitness instructor and another job in which I work with chldren as they have fun (no child care provision). In addition, for both of those small companies, I either manage or am consulted on all advertising and marketing decisions/investments.

In my personal life, I have been in a committed relationship for 4 years, and graduated from college just over a year ago. Nearly 25, I like to work, relax at home watching TV, spend time at restaurants and bars with friends on occasion, but usually choose to 'party' with those whom I know well at different personal homes.
