Voice Description

My natural voice is of a warm, deep and 'smokey' nature. It can be smooth and sexy for that 'midnight DJ' flavour. It can also sound professional for narrations, book reading etc, as well as high powered for different situations in everyday life.

My native languages are both American Spanish and Portuguese (from Portugal) and although English is a 'second' language, I am pretty much fluent in it.

My speciality is character voicing and accents. Anything from sounding posh, neutral to 'streetwise' as well as speaking the English language with different nationality accents such as French, Italian, Russian, Indian (Asian) and Caribbean to name a few. American English, Brazilian Portuguese and some American Spanish accents can also be catered for.

Although not fluent in French and Italian I can make it sound as good as the native counterparts.

My Voice Experience

I have lived in the UK for over 25 years and been a singer/songwriter and performer for the last 17 as a profession. My job has taking me around the world many times over which has led me to discovering, learning and getting to know the different cultures and its ways.

I am currently the lead vocalist of Salsa Celtica, a highly acclaimed and unique fusion band based in Scotland, UK, combining Celtic and Latin rhythms.

I have done some temporary voice over and singing work in the past for tobacco and toothpaste products and have always been complemented for my voice abilities, whether spoken or sung.

My training comes from years as a live singer/performer and from doing studio work which includes music recording and a few host spots on local radio shows. TV and radio interviews have also been part of my work.
