I have gotten to do a wonderful range of voice-over work in the last 5 years. I have been the voices on two children's DVDs (For Super Fun World). I was all the female characters in an animated short series for FoxSports.com (Called Of Course). I am currently all the female characters in the series that is now being produced for Back9 (a golf network that has Clint Eastwood on it's roster). I have also done voice over for several corporate videos. And I have done a commercial for a charity in New York. I am a writer, too, so I think that plays into my voice-over work. But above all, I adore voice-over work. No matter how big or small the job, I simply have so much passion for this field. And I think it shows because everywhere I go people comment on my voice, and when they find out I do voice-over work, they always think it's the perfect field for me. I think I bring enthusiasm to every word. Because I love words. And there is nothing more thrilling than lending my voice to those words!
I have a BA in Speech Communication, and an MS and PhD in Psychology. I have worked in some form of creativity and communications my whole life. I have also been a writer for the last 10 years, so I think I bring the understanding of words to my voice-over craft.
I have a minimal studio. But I do have access to an editor and a sound engineer.
As a writer and psychologist, I can bring depth to any assignment. I also have access to an editor for any assignment, so every take can be just as you need it to be upon delivery.
