My Voice Experience

I currently work for Clear Channel Communications where I perform an on-air shift at a radio station Monday through Friday. I have been in raadio since 2000 and have performed numerous voice over projects that air on radioand television. I have also performed voiceover for a concert amphitheater airing commercials for bands that will be apperaing there that weekend and other dates as well. I am in constatnt practice with my voice, and with experience, I received my education through a broadcasting school being taught by seasoned professionals. I currently have my own voice production studio where it is easily accesible, and I use it often to produce voice commercials for the radio station and independent clients.

My Training

I recieved a broadcast diploma at the Atlanta Broadcast Institue, and I am currently enrolled in college working on my Associate's degree in communications. I practice voiceover by listening to other voiceover artists and studying professionals like Don Lafontaine, Joan Baker, and many more. I have also worked writing copy and constantly study voice over when I can. I feel you can never be to good.

My studio equipment consists of: Xenyx 502 mixier; Behringer MS16 studio monitors; Sennheiser michrophone; Cool Edit Pro software.

Additional Skills

I look at a piece of copy to tell what kind of emotion or presentation to give it. I also teach this to other personalities getting started in radio broadcasting when they are just starting to perform voiceover for commercial clients. I take a lot of pride in my work, and perform the job to the best of my ability for the client, I like to use the old Vidal Sassoon slogan, "If you don't look good, than I will not look good".
