I have been on the radio as a singer while promoting theater performances and as a voice-over artist for one PSA when I was in school but, honestly, the majority of my radio/voice over experience came when I was Miss New Hampshire in the Miss America Organization. Over the radio, I spoke on behalf of sponsors, organizations, our scholarship program and my own activities. From doing well at the competition, I also got national coverage at press conferences that I spoke at and began hosting events as an MC when the competition ended.
The majority of my past recordings has thus been used as promotional tools--therefore, I was trusted to sell product and company ideas.

To speak in heightened text clearly to hundreds of people requires a huge vocal extension. To express passion and charged ideas takes enormous vocal range and energy whatever the format it's played for. And to sustain this kind of work again and again over years takes a combination of consummate craft and dedication. To speak and then sing, to sing and then speak, physically to exert yourself on-stage and then go into speaking or singing, are demanding activities that require skill and stamina. I quickly learned that the chameleon-like nature of playing roles also meant extending the voice and I have been working on that process--and taken it very seriously--for years.
Being a musical stage actor specifically, I have developed vocal techniques that enabled me to perform night after night without any strain to my vocal chords. I know a lot about voice health and take care of my instrument properly to avoid any performance problems.
Another aspect about me that you should know is that I have dedicated myself to more than 3,500 performance/event commitments and have never missed a single one. If I give my word to a project then I will be with it until the end!
