My Voice Experience

I have been singing in local talent shows and festivals for ten years. I get most of my influence, talent, and drive from my father. he has been singing for almost 30 years he has been in many bands and I have opened up for them many times. My most recent performance was at the Gratz Fair talent night. I took home second place and the song I sang was Black Velvet by, Allanah Myles. I'm in things at school as well such as Singers, this is a group of the most talented singers in my school and we perform every where including amusement parks.

My Training

I've had singing lessons in the past for two years but, mostly I teach myself through video cassettes and my father coaches me as well. The reason I go more with video tapes is because it seems easier for me because if i mess up I can just rewind the tape and replay it till I get the excercise correct. I also record myself on a cassete player so I can listen to determine what I am doing wrong or if I'm not reaching a note.
