I have a wide range of voice over sounds. My voice can be deep and warm, or soft and light for narrations. For commercials, you can hear my sensual, sexy, or fun and excited upbeat voice. My voice is professional, convincing, and smooth when doing voice over video/industrial presentations as well as pleasing and easy to listen to when recording documentaries.

Recently, I had a speaking role in an independent film called "Arrangements". One of my most exciting narrations was narrating a documentary short "Leatherback" about sea turtles from Indonesia.

My Training

My years as an educator, singer, and actor prepared me well for my work as a voice over talent. I received a B.A. from Mankato State College and an M.A. from Southern Illinois University in philosophy with an emphasis in the performing arts. My experiences as a singer include both solo and group performances. My voice over training includes Such a Voice workshops and coaching by Heather Costa. I am currently receiving training from voice over artist and author Elaine Clark (Voice One) in San Francisco, CA. In addition, I've had many years of public speaking as an educator and presenter.

My Studio Equipment

I record at a local recording studio. Alan is not only a recording engineer, he is a computer engineer, and has recorded voices and music for 30 years. He keeps his audio equipment up to date, and can send you an mp3 in any audio format you require. He also has phone patch in case you wish to direct my work by phone. His cost is $75/hr.

Additional Skills

Whether the work requires me to speak as an authoritative teacher (I was an educator for years) or a sexy, sensual woman, I am able to record the sound you want. Plus, my Girl Next Door voice (very pleasing, warm, sweet) will knock your socks off (Even though I've lived on the West Coast most of my life, I'm still a midwestern girl at heart).
