Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have done many inanimate objects. Balls, stuffed buffalos, washing machine, towel, cello and more. I can do sophiscated, and proper, or trailer trash dogs, sheep and fantasy voices. I also do a very fine human voice.

My Voice Experience

I have been recording Audio Books, for Reading and Radio Resource, in Dallas, Texas for 3 years. I have recorded fiction, and non-fiction, literature for all ages children to adults. Many of my book settings are foreign countries, which means that I have had to learn to pronounce dozens of different languages correctly.
I get great satisfaction out of interpreting Biblical text, so that the listener receives the meaning of the text, and the reason for hearing said text.
My most recent voice over recording was a narrative, module, for Wells Fargo Investments.

My Training

All of my college degrees are in the world of music. I am a professional classical saxophonist, with 30 years experience as a college professor, and concerto performer. I have been told, more than once, that musicians make the best readers, because they understand phrasing, inflection, tempo, timing, breathing, and communicating with the listener.
I have been attending seminars, in Dallas, given by Bettye Zoller.

My Studio Equipment

In my home, I have a Professional Series, Whisper Room recording booth, equiped with a Rode NT1A microphone, with pop filter, and shock mount, and an M-Audio Mobile Pre-USB preamp.

Additional Skills

As a professional musician, and an experienced Audio Book recorder, I understand the time and effort that is required for perfection. My ability to stick with a project, until I get it perfected is time tested. I have been doing it since I was a very young teen ager.
