My speaking voice is very expressive and versatile. I can be straight forward and clinical, I can be sexy and deep, I can sound fun and exciting; I can immitate almost any mood.
My voice fluctuations are of a wide range. I can sound warm, inviting, comforting, (which I am) however I can sound cold and calulating (which comes from my life and professional experience. I can sound wonderfully smooth or choppy like German. Speaking and singing in different voices and languages comes natural to me. I am a fast learner; I'm quite good at getting what the client wants and fitting into the part quickly.
I am willing to try just about anything. I love variety and challenges. Thank You!

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am a native Chicago suburbanite, which is my natural voice. I can immitate soutern accents very well. I speak some German so do that wonderfully like a native.
Also my Spanish is quite good. I also sing in different languages. I am willing to attempt any sound.
My music teachers and languages teachers in school said I was quite good at imitating sounds and accents I hear.
I normally sound very intelligent when I speak and/or sing however I can do dumb very well also.
I am quite versatile and I have a 3 octave singing voice that is very strong!

My Voice Experience

I actually have never professionally done voice over, however I have done friends business recordings for years and just recently realized I should be paid professionally for my work. I also have been the lead singer of my own band for 15 years with Rock and Roll, Country, and Blues. I've done all the arranging and theatrical direction myself. This is a new career for me and I can't wait to start. Please take a listen. There are speaking demos still to be uploaded. I look forward to the anticipated interest in my work.

Most all of my experience has been singing in different types of bands; Rock, Motown, Country, Standards, American Roots; I am quite entertaining on stage and have EmCeed alot of friends parties and weddings. It comes very natural to me. I have spoken and sung to/for large crowds. I am a natural people person and have decided it is time to put my voice talent to good use!

My Training

I took alot of speech and journalism in the two years I attended college.

I have always been involved in numerous choirs and singing groups throughout school years.

I also performed in school plays; however my parents died young and I was thrust into a regular job. I have decided it is time to do what I love. I also would like to become a member of SAG.

I have done some modeling; I'm a natural in front of crowds, on camera, and in the recording studio.

My Studio Equipment

I have some studio equipment; however it is not hooked up as present. I will be very happy to learn how to record my own; but as of present I'm glad to come to any location to record. As of now I can only do simple recordings. One of the first things I will buy with my earnings is my own recording equipment designed for voice over work.

Additional Skills

I am middle aged, attractive, and an excellent singer and speaker. I have decided to use my talents in any way possible. This is an exciting new beginning for me!

I feel I would be an asset to both voice over and especially voice over singing work. I pray someone will give me a chance to be heard. I know there is a place for me in recording. I am also very creative and write lyrics and melodies. Music and speaking is part of my soul. It keeps me alive and it livens up any who hear me!!!

I have a few MP3's here to give you an idea, however i'm eager to make more tapes and will be looking for suggestions. I have a photographer and fellow musician friend in the city where I can record anything I need to, but right now I just was anxious to get signed up.
