My Voice Experience

~ This poem was one of my many talents that helped me win the Miss Uganda Beauty Pageant 1993 where after I went on to represent Uganda in the MISS WORLD BEAUTY PAGEANT 1993.

A bald young Farmer courted me
He's gained my heart and liberty
He's gained my heart with a free good will
And I must confess that I love him still

But dig my grave long, wide and deep
Put marble stones at my head and feet
With several white doves over above
For, to show the world I died for love

~~ this is a self composed poem that has 6 stanzas (of which I present the first and the last for now) that can be read in many a way to bring out the emotions depicting the depths that love can take us to.

My Training

I was the first voice over in the first privately owned FM Radion Station in the history of Uganda and also the first voice over on the first privately owened TV Station in the country. I wrote the scripts and coached other voice overs as well.
I was the first Lead Actress to go for 6 years (1986-1992)straight in my high school and nominated the best actress 3 years in a row during my years at Makerere University in Uganda
I have done phone voice overs for ALL the companies that I have worked for including present company (Compass Lending)

Additional Skills

I am a loans processor presently. The one thing I love about my job is that it is very challenging and it is a constant learning process. It is a stepping stone for me as I am on my way to becoming a Loan Consultant. This is not a job anymore, it is my career. Before this, I was a Medical Biller and Coder. This had its challenges but inhibited my interpersonal relationships. I was a flight attendant for 3 1/2 years with an international airline - this was so fun and very educational for me because it presented to all sorts of people from various walks of life and cultures; diversity as an ongoing interest for me since then.
