My Voice Experience
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Leslie Diamond. Thank you for visiting my website. Voice acting is my full-time profession. Be warned I build long term relationships with my clients. You can expect me to be your trustworthy team member on every vocal project. I love what I do! I love giving 110% on each project I voice and meeting or surpassing my clients expectations. They can expect affordable rates and full production of their projects in a timely manner, too. What could be better!
More about me:
Leslies extensive broadcast and acting experience give her a unique sound imprint a rock-solid talent you can trust on every level, no matter whether its commercials, narrations, education and training, telephony, internet and more. Her vocal range runs the gamut from outright excitement to quiet desperation and has been described as sparkling, sizzling, high energy, magical, mischievous, seasoned, authoritative, focused, professional, real, urgent, varied, friendly, and warm.
Leslie likes to blog about everything and anything voice acting, such as time saving tips and resources for the voiceover actor, and anything new she learns from her VO colleagues and mentors. She studies regularly with Moneen Daley Harte and Susan Berkley. A life long learner, Leslie has also studied vocally with Creative Voice Development Group, Edge Studios, Nancy Wolfsons Braintracks Audio Voiceover Coaching, Pat Fraleys Voiceover Mini Lessons, Harlan Hogans Advanced VoiceOver Career Strategies and technology know-how from Rob LaVaque. She hopes to learn from many more.
Leslie worked for Rumrill-Hoyt Advertising Agency in Rochester, NY as an account executive (Kodak, Bausch & Lomb), sales promotion copywriter (DuPont, Hooker Chemical, Agway, Carburundum, Bausch & Lomb), and voice/video talent (DuPont, Kodak, Xerox, Agway, Sibleys, Dodge dealerships). She worked regularly with Bill Dengler Studios. Bill relied on her quick understanding of the creative directors needs, her professionalism, her sense of humor and fun, her innate timing, and the fact that her clear voice reflected her belief in any product she promoted. Among her commercial endeavors, she was the voice of Sibleys Junior Department and Western New Yorks Dodge Girl.
As a veteran of the classroom, Leslie taught regents courses in Broadcasting, Actors Studio, Dramatic Literature, Technical Theatre, and directed two of the five-production theatre season at School of the Arts. Leslie is a two-time Disney nominee for Teacher of the Year.
Leslie has two degrees (BA, MS) from Nazareth College of Rochester, one (MS) from St. John Fisher College and five NYS certifications Theatre Arts, English, Special Education, School Administration and School District.
Leslie is recognized by Cambridge Whos Who Registry of Executives, Professionals, and Entrepreneurs as a Lifetime Member.
