Voice Description

I have done a variety of voice over work for television and radion. My voice can be sexy and fun for commercials, and warm and deep for narrations or documentaries. I have done public service announcements where I needed to sound like the Expert. I grew up in New England, but do not have a strong regional accent, unless you want one.

scripted and did voice-over for PSAs for local nonprofits,
interviewed extensively on radio talk shows locally
have over six years working in a television station doing: scripting, producing, editing, organizing.
work as an independent contractor and professionally as a Creative Director, in charge of marketing and publicity, worked for area nonprofits creating Media Plans and Marketing campaigns, have extensively interviewed people.
Worked as a documentarist using Digital video equipment: camera, editing (AVID), and audio equipment.
Teach classes at Community Television Network, including Production Classes, interviewing and planningn a production.
Took classes at WMPG for Radio Production.

Additional Skills

I work as a Creative Director currently, and am great at Event Planning and organizing productions, including shoots. I am well-connected in the community and am a member of Portland Media Artists.
I am working on screenplays and a new documentary series about Maine.
In the past, I have worked as a Media Consultant for individuals, small business owners, and nonprofit agencies. I am able to assess a client's needs and script publicity material as needed. I am flexible and enjoy working with people on a variety of projects. I also pride myself in getting the material very quickly and not needing a lot of takes.
