I have done many commercials and narration for a variety of radio and video clients. For example, a radio spot for the Win Dixie store chain and video narration for a new medical device. I've also narrated 20 children's audiobooks for Reading Town Publishers and hosted The New Sun radio show on WBAI FM in New York. Additionally, I was the voice of The Riverside Church for their weekly radio broadcast as well as their in-house phone system. I've taken a number of classes, plus private instruction from voice over teacher. My background is in journalism. I've worked at The NY Daily News, NY Post, CBS-TV, and The Wall Street Journal in a variety of positions including reporter, editor, graphic artist, script writer, and producer. I have a home studio with the following equipment: -Soundproof booth -Sony ECM-NV1 microphone -Sennheiser headphones -Focusbrite Scarlet 212 preamp -Adobe Auditions recording software When producing The New Sun Radio (in addition to hosting), I wrote and re-wrote scripts so I deeply love and respect the art form. Of course I love voicing the copy too!
