My Voice Experience

I have worked in NYC and the Washington area for many years doing V/O for radio commercials, PSA's, TV Commercials and Documentaries. Some of my commercial clients include: American Standard, Pompeii Olive Oil, Tide with Bleach, Ivory Liquid, Downy, Tampax, Gerber, Baby Fresh, Coca-Cola, Washington Gas, DC Lottery, American Red Cross, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, NEA, World Health Org., Wolf Trap, Blue Cross Blue Shield...

I have also done telephone scripting (telephony) for several different clients in both Spanish and English.

I have narrated SPACES, a six part science series on PBS, as well as co-hosted a news magazine radio program broadcast throughout the world called Ventana al Mundo.

My Training

I studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Art and at HB Studio in NYC. I majored in Communications and Theater at the University of Maryland and worked at National Public Radio and WETA, a local affiliate of PBS. I have done live radio plays with the LA Theater Works, and have preformed in several plays at the Kennedy Center Theater Lab in Washington DC.

I have also served as a producer on various video projects as well as language consultant for Spanish language V/O sessions as well as casting.

I have been very fortunate to make a living doing what I love: Voice Overs!

My Studio Equipment

I am currently using Sony Sound Forge to record and edit voice files, with the Edirol UA5 as a digital interface and an AKG C3000B condenser mike that gives a great warm and natural tone. I also have a Zoom H4 for remote recording.

I have high speed internet and can email high qaulity MP3's or Wave files, or depending on the size can download to a FTS such as YouSendit.

I also downloaded Skype so can also use that as a studio tool.
