My Voice Experience
People have always said to me, "You have such a nice voice!" Being a special education teacher for over 20 years, I have used my voice to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere that is conducive for teaching students with special needs. Soothing enough to keep focus, fun-sounding enough to keep interest, and authoritative enough to maintain order, my voice has served me well in spanning a variety of tones to run a successful classroom. I am now at a time in my life where I want to find out just how "nice" my voice really is. Consequently, with my extensive classroom experience, and my undergraduate work and training in broadcasting, I am looking to pursue a new career in the voice-over industry.
