-Voice over work has become a second career for me! I have successfully worked as a speech and language pathologist in my own private practice for over 30 years and certainly have used my professional, instructive voice with both adults and children. I have trained adults in the areas of vocal pitch and resonance as well as articulation. I believe that humor is an important element when working with children and have used my voice in a variety of comical ways as a means of sustaining the attention of my young clients.
-I read the news over our local NPR station for the Triad Information Reading Service, a regional non-profit which provides radio broadcasts for the blind and visually impaired.
-I have received excellent professional voice-over training with Voice Coaches out of Albany, New York.

My voice has been my tool during my successful career as a speech and language pathologist. I have honed this skill through direct client contact as well as through professional presentations in the community. Success requires KNOWLEDGE and CREATIVITY. I understand how to read my "audience" and can use my vocal skills, accordingly, in a convincing manner.
