I've had a call center job for many years and to avoid bearing the brunt of any upset customer's frustration I've developed the habit of sounding like a sweet little girl.
My friends call it my baby doll voice.

In reality, my voice is a bit more throaty sounding and when I sing I've been told I sound be a jazz singer or the voice for a girly punk band.

I do a mean impression of Gwen Stefani circa No Doubt (mainly Tragic Kingdom).
