Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am fairly new to the industry so I am not sure what type of accents I can do. I have done a Valley Girl impersonation for one of my commercials, but the rest have been more smooth and professional. I know I can do more, just need to tap into it!!

My Voice Experience

From a young girl, I have been told by many, many people that my voice is an asset! Through my profession, which was Law at the time, Bosses, clients and the like have also told me that I should do something with my voice. In 1997, I met clients and associates that were involved in small movie parts and TV Shows, i.e., Law and Order, Ed, etc. as well as doing commercials so, they asked me to do a few commercials with them for a local company in New Jersey. Their company was called "Just a Little Bit" Productions. In 2000, I also did a web cast presentation to narrate services of a company who did video production. I was their video spokesperson to explain video streaming and viewing web presentations online. Unfortunately, this company went out of business shortly after this job but the experience was well worth it for me. I then wrote and recorded some commercials and narratives on my own to help build my portfolio.

My Training

I took a workshop in my area with Dan Levine of Dan Levine Productions. I have done my own research and study of the profession, i.e., online research, articles, publications, and talking to industry professionals.

My Studio Equipment

I don't have my own studio but have access to professional recording equipment through a family member.

Additional Skills

I am a skilled, creative, and hard working individual. I am professional and will do what it takes to get the job done right. I would really like the opportunity to pursue a career in voice overs and be a success. I have the voice, I just need the chance! ;) Thank you!
