My Voice Experience

Lee Bailey always had an attraction to radio and that fascination led him to become a regular visitor at local radio stations in his hometown of Pittsburgh. After a brief career in the US Air Force, Lee set out to begin a career as an on-air personality and with his smooth melodic voice, ambition and talent, Lee became known as urban radio legend – “The Voice.” And that resonated the airwaves of various radio stations throughout the nation. For three years in a row Lee has been voted by his peers as one of Radio Ink magazine’s top 20 leaders in urban radio.

Lee worked as a radio announcer in Sacramento and Washington, DC before working in Los Angeles at KDAY-AM, KMPC-AM & KUTE-FM. His talent also landed him voice-over jobs for radio and television commercials for companies including: Hanna Barbera, Pacific Bell, Clorox, Mazda, Toyota, Universal, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Denny’s, ARCO, CBS-TV, KABC-TV, The US Postal Service, MCA Records and many more.
