My Voice Experience
Lee Bailey always had an attraction to radio and that fascination led him to become a regular visitor at local radio stations in his hometown of Pittsburgh. After a brief career in the US Air Force, Lee set out to begin a career as an on-air personality and with his smooth melodic voice, ambition and talent, Lee became known as urban radio legend The Voice. And that resonated the airwaves of various radio stations throughout the nation. For three years in a row Lee has been voted by his peers as one of Radio Ink magazines top 20 leaders in urban radio.
Lee worked as a radio announcer in Sacramento and Washington, DC before working in Los Angeles at KDAY-AM, KMPC-AM & KUTE-FM. His talent also landed him voice-over jobs for radio and television commercials for companies including: Hanna Barbera, Pacific Bell, Clorox, Mazda, Toyota, Universal, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Dennys, ARCO, CBS-TV, KABC-TV, The US Postal Service, MCA Records and many more.
