My Voice Experience

Having worked in a pro recording studio specializing in jingles and soundtracks for film/video post-production; I have experience producing customised voice-overs in both English and Danish. I've not only recorded and edited many well-known studio voice artists and singers, but have also produced my own work. Additionally, I have considerable experience with audio mix, vocal enhancement, and soundscape production.

My Training

I earned a BA in Media and Communication in Canada and later moved to Denmark where I later worked in a number of high-end digital recording studios. Among these were both acoustic and midi recording studios, primarily geared up to record for the pro music industry.

During that time I was also trained as a videographer for both linear and non-linear (NLVE) editing using BetaCam SP and Ikegami equipment.

Throughout the years, I have had hands-on experience with sundry recording equipment; including SSL 56 channel mixer consoles, PCM-3324 Digital tape recorders, a plethora of outboard hardware and software, and tons of microphones.

My Studio Equipment

Throughout the years, I have had hands-on experience with sundry recording equipment; including SSL 56 channel mixer consoles, PCM-3324 Digital tape recorders, a plethora of outboard hardware and software. Currently I use Logic Pro, Reason, Cubase, Audition, Wavelab 6 and many other audio applications and VST's.

I currently produce backing tracks, and mix and edit vocal tracks and video for young talent from around the world.

Additional Skills

During my younger life, I was trained in Canada as an ambulance paramedic and worked for the Ontario Provicial government. I therefore learned a great deal about human anatomy and physiology and medical terminology. As a result I can therefor help with articulate voiceover narration involving these topics.
