My Voice Experience

I am brand new to the industry of voice acting. I've been told by professionals in the business, that I should look into voice acting and voice overs. I'll let you be the judge. If you use "MY" voice in your voice over work, voice mail recording, on hold messenging, commercial, movie, cartoon, radio ad, any voice acting job... you will get your listeners "attention"! Open to virtually anything related to voice acting!

My Training

I currently work for a fortune 500 company (in the top 10) in a phone environment and use my voice in my work daily. My company spends a great deal of time and effort to help us perfect every aspect of our voices (Tone, clarity, etc). At least a few people a day comment on my voice, telling me i have a great phone presence, or say I sound so much like the recorded message on our voice response system and have an inviting, warm professional voice.
I'm currently looking for employers with open minds to hiring someone new to this industry. I'd like to start out slow and then join SAG.

Additional Skills

I have a very unique voice and people sometimes remember me because of my voice, even if I've changed completely, they say, I knew it was you because of your voice! I always say my voice is a cross between Minnie Mouse and Marilyn Monroe. Many men say I have a soothing voice they don't want to stop listening to. Once, recently, a man who owns radio stations in Texas offered me a job as a DJ, just hearing me over the phone, during a short conversation. I believe I can become a succesful voice talent in the area of commercials, cartoons and movies. I've thought about becoming a voice actor for years! I'm excited about what the future holds!
