Voice Description

I am a very strong singer, a mezzo belter with a fabulous mix that gives me the ability to sing anything from Rogers and Hammerstein to Jason Robert Brown. I have been schooled in Hebrew, French, Russian, and Spanish, and accel in at least 10 different accents including Russian, French, Latina, British, Sweedish, German, Yiddish, and deep Brooklyn. I have a degree in Theater and PR from Hofstra University, and have performed in roles as a character actress and as an ingenue.

My Voice Experience

So, in my sophmore year of college I was accepted to AMDA in NYC - with a scholarship - at the time I wasn't completely sure that leading the actors life was going to be for me. I made a promise to myself, that I would go get my bachelors, and if when I was done with that I still wanted to persue a stage career, I would - well, here I am. I've got the degree, and the college loans to show for it!!! Over the past year I've received a scholarship to study voice at Wickham Vocal Studios, and was accepted into an exclusive Vocal Performance class with Billy Porter, who in his hayday took Broadway by storm! I've done off- off Broadway shows, and at this point I am trying to get my break into the world of the Actors Equity Association. I have had leads in Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, Europa - A Rock Musical, Carousel, and Godspell. I have also done T.V. work and Film work, and look foreward to doing more in the future. I am a dancer, with 15 years of training under my taps, and thrive on making silly voices and creating new quirky characters with weird accents!
