The most common description is Warm, believable and that I sound just like somebody's MOM.

My Voice Experience

I cut my teeth on Major Market Morning Drive Radio and learned how to act when I didn't feel like acting. I learned how to smile to an audience when I didn't feel like smiling. When you grow in your profession being the character that everyone wants you to be, you can become quite a good voice actor. And that is how it began.

Great Radio voice, but also, caring, humble, sweet and charming, sexy and smooth, Those are the words that I heard from Program Directors around the country.

From the Mountains near Denver Colorado at KAZY radio, I became the FIRST WOMAN TO EVER HAVE HER OWN MORNING SHOW IN THE UNITED STATES.

Then, off to Kansas City, doing another morning show and also becoming the first woman in KANSAS CITY to do a morning show. (KCFX 101.1 FM)

And the beaches of Miami Florida, 96X, WMJX and WSHE Radio.

Throughout my years on air, I had the opportunity to do some local television.

So I love the microphone, adore the camera and delight in my job!

In the spring of this year, 2011, we upgraded and revamped the studio. It's beautiful. Good, clean, profession sound comes out of there!

My Training

Associate in Broadcast Journalism from Brown Institute School of Broadcasting and an Associates from Broward County Community College in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.

My main experience in the voice over industry came directly from getting up at 3 a.m. every morning to entertain people on their way to work on the radio.

Now, if THAT'S not acting, I don't know what is!!!!

My Studio Equipment

I own my own recording studio, so I work all kinds of hours. My turn around time is generally 24 hours, and in most cases, quicker, depending on the size of the project.

I work with my clients via SKype very often.

Microphone: Audio Technica AT2035 Cardioid Condenser (large diaphragm)

Computers and software: Gateway 614GE Athion 64 Processor 3400+ and HP G60-535DX Notebook

Other Special Equipment: Xenyx502 Premium 5 input 2-Bus Mixer with Preamp and British EQ, Headphones Audio-technica and Samson PS01 Pop Filter;
Software: Audacity

Additional Skills

I do copy writing and audio editing in addition to my experience in radio and television for 20 years. I also have another producer so we can handle a heavy workload, so if you have a large project, not a problem, we can have it finished and delivered to you well before your deadlines.
