My Voice Experience

I have always enjoyed using my voice to help create a picture for listeners. My background includes involvement in plays in school, recording announcements for a local movie theater, narrating high profile events such as a military promotion ceremony to MCing the Opening Ceremony for Special Olympics. I have recorded my voice for numerous video and radio productions for Armed Forces Radio and Television - news and special interest topics. I am a certified instructor who conducts workshops, seminars, and training classes for a variety of topics such as sales, customer service, business development and leadership development.

My Training

I was professionally trained as a Radio and TV Information Specialist through the Military at the Defense Information School in Indiana in 1986. I am cerfified in electronic journalism, which includes radio and television production, and creating voice over commercials and announcements for the military members serving overseas. I was news correspondent and News Anchor for the Far East Network Tokyo 1986-89 and hosted a jazz music radio program during that time as well. I participated in a cable-access TV producer certification program in 1998. In 1999, I started conducting seminars for small business owners and co-hosting a monthly radio program on business issues. In 2003 till present, I have been certified as an instructor and Training Manager for an industrial supply company, conducting classes and making presentations to various audiences within the organization.
