My overall interest in music began in 1970, when I began playing the violin. All of my siblings played strings so we became a musical family. Through years of private lessons and attending music camps (Manistee Music Camp,Interlochen Music Camp), my skills improved to participate in community orchestras. I became a member of the Highland Park Chamber Orchestra (played along side Ms. Regina Carter), The Detroit Youth Symphony Orchestra, and guest instrumentalist in the Detroit Symphony (at the request of my music teacher Mr. Joseph Stripling).
In mimicing the sweet sounds from my instrument, I developed my singing abilities. With a love of singing to coincide with my instrumental talents, I began to explore utilizing both in church choirs as a teenager. I sung in the choir at the True Vine Baptist Church in Detroit until relocating to the state of Texas.
In Texas, I began to sing in the New Born Baptist Church choir (Pastor Roy Witherspoon), soloing on most of the songs which exemplified my talents and love for the craft. I attended this church for 5 years. The awe of those who heard me sing is that because I'm very petite, I have a strong vocal projection that resenates throughout any hall. After leaving New Born Baptist Church, I joined and began singing praise and worship for my new church New Creations Church (ApostleThurman J. Reese). Again, after my vocal talents were revealed, I became lead for most of the praise and worship songs as well as solo for Altar Call.
I have also sung with the Texas Utilities (TXU) Uletide Choir, also soloing on several Christmas songs. I was a member of this choir for 3 years. I have completed voice over work for the TXU Distribution student video about Electric Turbines which was played for various schools throughout the Dallas/Metroplex.
I have alot of singing and musical experience under my belt which would make me a great, powerful Jingle Singer on any given project.

I have done numerous workshops during my years of singing in the church choirs, one of which was overseen by the reknown Mr. Kirk Franklin.
