My Training

It was serving as a Broadcast Journalist for the United States Army where I honed an indefatigable work ethic. At 19, I shipped-out to Germany to serve my country; and subsequently remained living and working abroad over twelve years. My career propelled me to London, Hong Kong, Rome, and back to the UK. My professional roots grew originally in copywriting and voice-over for Army broadcast television and radio including: interviewing, public service announcements, television news pieces, and radio features. However, I also cross-trained in virtually every aspect of field/studio film and video production—with a special knack for pre-production, location scouting, camera operation, and post-production. In addition, I spent several years working in live studio environments such as MTV, UK and Sky, TV UK in the role of Vision Mixer and Transmission Controller as well as researching, shooting, writing, voicing, and editing International news pieces for Sky TV.
