Voice Description

My voice over range spans from unique and creative character voices, commercial announcer and professional presentation.

I am able to do several character voices in a variety of accents and age ranges and I am always creating new and different characters to suit whatever project I am working on. Dialects include: standard Brittish, Cockney, American Southern, New Yorker, Boston, Valley Girl, English w/ French accent, German, Russian...able to learn any dialect with practice.

In the last four years I have done hundreds of commercials for a variety of clients ranging from medical facilities to restaurants to teen centers. I am able to modify my voice over style to fit the clients' needs.

My Voice Experience

For four years I have been working in the New Mexico radio industry. In that time I have done shows on Hip-Hop, Country, Oldies stations and more (always creating a new "character DJ" to fit the music style). My strongest work, however, is in commercials. I have done commercials for every kind of client...sometimes using a soothing or sexy voice over, and other times doing wacky character voices and "plays" all within the span of :30 to :60 seconds.

I have been both mother and child in the same commercial. I've been yogi and boo boo, a fairy god-mother, a soap opera star, a geek, a wicked witch, an English foot solider, Santa Claus (with the help of some editing magic) and more.

On top of doing commercial work for clients all around New Mexico (and in parts of Texas and Arizona) I have also recorded voice over for professional presentations for the City of Las Cruces (one being a proposal for after-school programs that was shown to a legislater in California).

Additional Skills

I am an excellent sound editor and have access to Adobe Audition 1.5 and 2.0 as well as Cool Edit 2000. I am able to do FULLY PRODUCED projects as opposed to just rough cuts that require additional editing.

I am also able to create and mix SFX.
