My Voice Experience
I have acted in theatre and movies. I have recorded radio spots for KYXY, KSCF, KPRZ, KCBQ that have played on the air in San Diego. I have done podcasting and a variety of voice overs, some were PSAs and some were commercials. I have also worked as on-air talent as a disc jockey for radio.
My Training
I learned to do voice over in a two-year vocational college program and through professional experience at radio stations. I am a musician as well and have a B.A. in Music. My training in music taught me voice and breath control, which helps when doing voice over work. I have a degree in Cinema as well and have worked on feature-length and short films, both as actor and crew.
My Studio Equipment
Adobe Audition software, CD burner, audio board, microphones, other equipment found in a commercial broadcast radio station.
Additional Skills
Currently, I do web design and website maintenance. I also teach music. Previously, I have worked in business offices and had a career for a while in accounting and another one in data processing within the health services industry. I have also worked for many years as a waitress in various restaurants. I have strong knowledge of these areas as well as computer science, music, teaching, radio, film studies, and filmmaking.
