Voice Description

My voice offers great versatility for a number of applicable reads. My background in commercial production for radio and television has allowed me to acutely deliver a style that is informative and personal.

I have a very clear, deep resonating voice that will offer a perfect narative for commercial production or corporate use.

In addition, I am also very trained and skilled in providing a manner of narration that is captivating and emotional. By this I mean, I can draw a listener in to a narrative that may envoke tears, laughter or compelling thought.

This is a quality of storytelling that is most often reserved for the finest of broadcasters and narrators, like: Keith Morrison, Red Skelton, Bill Curtis, Jay Schadler etc.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

While I have never fancied myself as one to do impersonations - my experience in radio production often meant having to change the delivery, intonation, range and style of my voice quite often.

I wouldn't feel comfortable saying I do impersonations . . . however, if the copy called for a delivery that was more southern, british or portraying a "surfer dude" - I believe I would be able to adapt rather convincingly.

My Studio Equipment

My office is equiped with a production studio that has an Audio Technica AT2020 phantom-powered production microphone (on a boom) with a voice filter feature. All production is computer based through a state-of-the-art custom-built computer system.

I can do multiple track voice-overs, sound effects and music (some royalty free) that is produced through the VEGAS software program.

I can create "dry" vocal tracks or a completed finished product with various audio overlays.

Additional Skills

For 19 years I have made a full-time living with my voice! I am grateful to be sought out as one of the top vocal talents in the Reno / Lake Tahoe area. (Note: I am also available for out-of-state personal appearances to MC corporate events!)

My mentor is Dick Clark, whom I am proud to call my friend! He is an incredible inspiration to me and someone whom I admire greatly. My vocal style is similar, though I must say there will NEVER be another Dick Clark.
