Long time Chicago Broadcaster since the 60's Now the voice of the Chicago Fire Department. Do TV specials on the fire department often. Produce local commercials and run production departments for self owned radio stations WGTO and WDOW. Do industrial reads and Public Safety spots used in Chicago radio on behalf of the City of Chicago. Provide dramatic reenactments of heroic deeds by Chicago Firefighters and Police officers for use at awards at Chicago City Hall. I am African American and have wide range of voice sound from totally non descript to heavy ethnic. Provided audio ID tracks for 3000 Motorola Public Safety radios in Chicago. Own my studio and can provide audio enhancement of projects as required.

My Voice Experience
Have always "sold by voice" and made the listener
"see" what was happening. Voiced most of the "Motown album radio spots when such things were popular in the 70's including the "Lady Sings the Blues" series with Diana Ross. Have been the ID voice for several radio stations in many formats. Can provide special voice based on the description of the subject visual apperance.
My Training
Have been a broadcast journalist since the age of 13 and have done radio production for the same amount of time. Am now 58 years old so by this time I think I know what I am doing! I teach media traning for Chicago Fire officials as well as voice training specials for use in the department and for public education on fire awareness and escape. I am a member of AFTRA but have been listed as inactive since 1985.

Additional Skills
I do audio recovery work using specialized software to " dig out" audio for legal research or case preparation. Including audio clean-up of low grade sources like 911 phonme calls. I enhanced calls in the case of the 69 west Washington fire in Chicago and the Fuincess Chicago fire both of which needed extreme audio doctoring to recover 911 phone call information under high noise situations.
