Voice Description

I sound like a very polished average person. My strong suits in commercial broadcasting have been personal endorsements, as well as sincere sales. As a play-by-play announcer I can also do energetic, and often frenetic deliveries. I do not do character voices or accents, but I do speak German. German listeners will find it to be with a slight Bavarian or Austrian accent.

My Voice Experience

After studing German in college, I have spent the past 27 years working in commercial radio as a sportscaster and morning news host. I have recorded literally thousands of commercials through the years as well as doing voice overs, voice mail greetings, on hold messages and motivational speeches. Perhaps the most unique thing I have done is record pseudo PA introductions for prospective basketball recruits at a university.

My Training

I graduated with a BA from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio in 1979. In addition to majoring in German, I also was a Radio-TV-Film major.
