I have a voice that can convey a variety of feelings. My speaking voice is most often described as "sexy" or inviting. I feel that the tonal quality of my voice is rich and warm, and can also be commanding or authoritative if necessary. I do not fluently speak other languages, but am able to read other languages.I am able to very well mimic various accents, such as British, cockney, Irish, Scottish, Asian, Jamaican patois, deep Southern, and Spanish announcer type.

My Voice Experience

For a number of years, I was a voice actor for commercial advertisements in Dallas, Texas, which is my home town. I did a number of character voices within the framework of advertisements for the major nightclubs in Dallas. I moved to California in May 1985, and have since worked in Hollywood for a number of years, up to and including the Academy Awards, this year's telecast being my fifteenth year as the International Production Assistant. I have written and delivered copy for TCB hair care products, and have been an emcee for a few concerts over the years also.

My Training

I have always had a sort of affinity for hearing voices and being able to do them as well. I got into doing commercial voiceover work with a D.J. friend of mine, years ago in the Dallas area. I attended the largest high school in the nation (Skyline High School C.D.C.) and pursued studies in Television Production while there. In college, my major was Journalism-Radio and T.V. Broadcasting. When I moved to California, I attended, and graduated from, Columbia School of Broadcasting with a 3rd class Broadcaster's license. I also started getting involved with acting, and attended John Miranda's acting workshop class, and have been a professional actor, stand-in and background actor for a number of years.

I love the entertainment business in all it's various forms, and do pride myself on being the consummate professional. I have been fortunate enough to make a living in Hollywood for a number of years by now, and would love the opportunity to continue to be of service via my voice skills. I spent 11 television seasons on the number one rated nighttime drama E.R., been a stage and lighting tech for the Hollywood Palladium, a stand-in for Shaquille O'neal, Dennis Rodman, Tony Todd, Harry Lennix, and Chi McBride. I take my work very seriously, but know how to have fun. I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best in the business, and my professionalism has never been questioned.
