Voice Description

I possess a very large arsenal of voices that I can produce. I can be the sweet innocent guy that is oblivious to all things evil. I can have the deep authoritative voice that are often used for NBA voiceovers or all the "manly commercials." I can also be the seductive smooth operator that could host a nightly radio broadcast for sensual music listening. But there is also the side of me that lets it all hang out where I can be super energetic, outgoing and cheerful team player kind of guy! To sum it up I can produce voices over a very large spectrum from the severly nice to the nice guy that you would never suspect to be the craziest most maniacal character that a person could ever come across!
I also speak French and Spanish very well, not fluent but I did take each of the languages for two plus years at the collegiate level.

My Voice Experience

Ever since I was a child I have always been fascinated with cartoons. My favorite being Transformers which I am still into to this day at the age of 26. My brother and I would always mimic the characters to all the cartoons we watched and it has simply never ceased. We now are both great animators and are in the process of creating our own animation and I have spent countless hours trying to perfect my voice over abilities in anticipation of creating unique and loveable characters. I have yet to do something professional but at the University of Houston I was the voice talent of show we produced that mimicked Inside the Actors' studio where I played the host James Lipton, only in sock puppet form though! I really enjoyed it and just thrived at making people laugh by the antics of the puppet and by being able to portray Mr. Limpton so precisely.

My Training

I earned my B.A. in communication journalism and my minor in interpersonal communication from the University of Houston in the fall of 2005. While there I participated in the UofH t.v. program Video Workshop which aired in early 2006 on PBS. On the show I was the host, reporter and interviewer. I completed an internship with KRIV TV 26 Fox.
During my stint I was able to expand my knowledge of the entire news network and also learned the inner workings of news production from the conceptual stages of a story to its debut. I also assisted reporters with electronic field productions and attained on camera experience while creating my
own interpretations of a story which included writing leads and scripts that were later utilized for a mock news broadcast. The courses I took included: Media Performance, Communication Law and Ethics, Print &Digital
Media Writing, Television Production, Broadcast &Film Writing, Electronic News, Editing;
Print &Digital Media and Intro to
Telecommunications.
At San Jacinto Community College I earned my A.A. Social Science and created a movie for Multi Media Design utilizing Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and related software.
During highschool I also hosted our daily news segment which aired throughout the entire school and was also in theatre arts for two years where I performed in 2 plays for our spring show.

I am an outgoing individual that thrives for action. I have a can do attitude and I am a perfectionist. I get along with people wherever I go and most of the time can make people laugh within the first few minutes of meeting them because I just love to smile and laugh! I love to have fun and I encorporate the fun loving spirit into all that I do. I was a member of the United States Air Force and I had to give numerous briefings and speeches to higher ranking officers and it is there where I learned how to deliver powerful and motivating speeches.
