Clipped pacing and loose, widely varied inflection lends a flippancy to my voice that is ideal when sarcasm or a casual feel is necessary.

My Training

I have had extensive training in elocution and voice acting both through drama lessons and participation in a Speech & Debate team during High School and as a coach after graduating. I've also cultivated my skills in the process of the readings attendant to my work as a poet.

During my time in the Speech and Debate team, I performed in a wide variety of prepared and impromptu speaking events, and had consistently strong performance in Debate, Impromptu Exposition, Prepared Exposition and Humorous Interpretation. I excelled and achieved the title of State Champion in Student Congress, a form of large-audience platform speaking, and was a National Championship Semi-Finalist in Student Senate, the upper-tier division of the same.

I have also passionately studied linguistics to reinforce my intuitive and artistic abilities as a voice-user with a calculated, scientific understanding of the mechanisms, which gives me a significant edge over others in quick adoption of new accents, dialects and languages.

I am a moderately skilled singer with a range extending from bass to tenor, further with falsetto. When not applying any affectations to my singing voice, I have a bluesy sound and a tendency to growl on occasion.
