Voice Description
Speaking for myself, I would say that I have somewhat of a range with my voice.
With a background in theatre, specifically musical theatre, I have a musical ear which enables me to appreciate and understand pronounced constanants, warm vowels, several dialects (American, as well as foreign).
I can relax into a sexy and fun range, but also am able to "straighten up and fly right" with a smooth, formal, or informative tone, when needed.
My origins are from Virginia and still find resonances of that region in my voice, at times. (i.e. John Boy Walton.)

My Voice Experience
My voice has been recorded many times, over the years, indirectly, in shows and benefits. I am known, primarily, as a singer (Tenor), but have had many "parts" and lines in shows. Some of the shows I have been in include: "Forever Plaid"- Jinx, "The Goodbye Girl"- Billy, the dance instructor, "Jesus Christ Superstar"- Peter, "Man of La Mancha"- Anselmo, "Chess","Guys and Dolls", "Peter Pan", as well as "Pageant"- Miss Kitty Bob Ames Miss Texas! Other credits and experiences include: "Heartstrings: A Revival" with Ruth Bussy and Issac Hayes at the Fox Theatre in 1987 and "La Boheme" with the Atlanta Opera, in 1987, at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
My Training
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in Speech and Theatre- Knoxville, 1984.
I have extensive stage experience, performing at the Fox Theatre several times, the Alliance, the Rialto (winning the Agent Idol Award at a Century 21 Easter Seals benefit in the fall of 2007), as well as many community theatres in Atlanta, Decatur, and Knoxville.
Over the years, I have had regular voice lessons from several tallented coaches.
