My Voice Experience
At broadcasting school, I really learned to perfect my craft by having to create specific productions in a short amount of time and only having two or three instructions to follow. The rest was my creative ability. I had to produce a 15 and 30 second spot, pick out music, sound effects, write a script, have other talent involved, and have it critiqued by my instructor in the time limit of an hour and a half. This helped me focus and really come up with something creative as well as being approved by my instructor to use a later date.
My Training
I am a graduate of Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, MI. There I was able to work with the digital editing program, Adobe Audition to put together commercial spots for my instructor. I had to choose the music and create a script based on a fact sheet provided. I did a spot for my final grade and I was chosen to have my spot aired live on my instructor's blues show on Sunday nights. Each project called for specific guidelines as far as the delivery for the read. I had to do P.S.A's, Sanders-Candy and Cookies,

Additional Skills
Having the hands on experience from the broadcasting school, I have the skills and abilities that can put me ahead of the game. While at school, I was an on-air DJ in four radio stations and this helped me develop a more natural sound to my audience and be able to adjust to certain demographics when talking about different subjects. I am just looking forward to the exciting career ahead of me in doing voice overs.
