My Voice Experience

I am a theatre major and have been a wide range of shows, mostly musicals. i have done classic stories like jane eyre to crazy ones like suessical by dr. sues. some of my characters included- an old bitter women named ms. scatchard, (i played her voice like ms. trunchbul from matilda), the sour kangaroo,( large urban full voice), squeaky from the assassins,( nasally)stepmother in Cinderella, old Italian aunt in a show called see what i wanna see, I've done voice over work for a show called zombie prom in which my character was a preppy baton thrower, and the voiceover was for a middle age Minnesota mother. those are only a few of my show, i am always looking to do more shows to become inspired to create new voices.

My Training

i am a graduate from river view high school and i am currently attending USF in my third year and working towards my bachelor degree in communications with a minor in theatre. the most training I've gained as far as voice work goes would be the musicals, and straight plays I've done over the year and the classes I've taken in college. I've done intro to theatre, acting classes and a voice in movement class as well.

I have no access to a home studio. I can drive to one if necessary, I have a lap tap with built in microphone and web cam.

Additional Skills

I am a singer before anything. I am a mezzo belter and can belt to a high g. i can do smooth jazz like, or more modern like Amy Winehouse. I am especially good in the alto soft tone, and i am well known for my Tracy Chapman impression. i can also sing comfortable belting songs like Beyonce or Whitney. gospel is my favorite type to sing.
