My Voice Experience
I am a professionally trained actor. In addition to my work as a voice actor, I have toured with a professional theater company, traveled the Northwest as half of a storytelling duo, and spent 10 years in broadcasting as on-air talent and production engineer. Eventually, I went exclusively free-lance and became my own boss... well, actually, I report to you.
I thrive on diverse and challenging projects. I have many clients to thank for putting my passion to work. You can hear our collaboration in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Southeast Asia. Among my favorite projects are documentaries. In recent years, I have narrated several for KSPS Public Television.

My Training
I graduated from Whitworth University with a BA in Theater and English. Following that, I toured with a St. Paul, MN-based theater company. When I returned home, I launched UpStart Productions at the age of 24...over 15 years ago.
I spent 10 years in radio broadcasting as DJ and news anchor. I also wrote, voiced and produced spots. For three years, I toured the Northwest as a professional actor and storyteller.
Now I am exclusively free-lance, writing and voicing, and occasionally producing full length projects.
Experience counts for something in this business. It cultivates versatility. Hones creativity. And refines efficiency. All of which I will gladly put to work for you.

Additional Skills
"I began life as a storyteller. By Kindergarten I went on the road (to the older grades) with my own version of Noahs Ark. Many, many stories later I spent three wonderful years in Tellers Two, a storytelling duo that toured the Inland Northwest. To this day, writing original material for live performance stokes my creative fires.
"One of my greatest strengths is writing for the spoken word. And since I am happiest with multiple irons in the fire, I write everything from commercials to radio features, promotional DVDs to documentaries. Makes me a better Voice Talent too."
