Voice Description

My voice is conversational with a wide range of styles from a hard sell automotive dealer and race track delivery to a soft and sensitive sound. I have done thousands of commercials for radio plus narrations for industrial and multimedia including television. I also write produce and sing jingles as well play multiple instruments on my productions. I often write and perform my own music beds. I also have an extensive music library of production music.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Not preferred but... I have been hired to do many character voices (succesfully) including Elvis for radio and TV, Tom Bodet of Motel 6, and did the voice of President Bill Clinton for a professional bus tour of Washington DC. I have also voiced bus stops for city bus lines ( regular voice) and announcements for Washington DC's Dulles airport. Of course the standard character voices like Santa Claus, Mark Twain, Ben Franklin, and goofy cartoon voices.

My Voice Experience

My experience includes over three decades of professional voice overs. I have voiced and produced 18 Addy Award winners, Six Clio Finalists and one CLio Trophy. Since 2002 I have produced two CMA nominations, one Large Market CMA winner, and the midday segment of the Major Market Academy of Country Music Awards Radio Winner. ding ding ding! :)

All that and the awards are not that important to me. I mention them just for formality.

I was on the air during the first Woodstock, the first moonlanding, the death of Elvis, John Lennon's tragic ending, The Shuttle Disaster,( Hey--- it's not my fault we mark time with disasters) & 9-11.

I have worked with Charlie Van Dyke, Howard Stern, Paul Reiser, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, Van Zandt, Emerson Drive. I was hired to voice a special Phil Donahue show.
