My Voice Experience

I've always loved to do funny voices and impersonations. When I was getting my Masters at CalArts, I auditioned for and got into several animation projects, although unfortunately for me, only a few of them were actually finished. I then took a voiceover class my final semester and found a natural talent and love for the craft and I readily embraced. I quickly turned that into taking classes with Leigh Gilbert, who also encouraged me and reinforced that this is a career that I can definitely do. I'm just getting started, but this is the first step toward something that I love and will be pursuing for as long as I can.

Additional Skills

My biggest asset is my training. I've now been doing theatre in a scholastic setting for 7 years. I know how to work in a team, I know how to make strong choices, and I know how to make my work best serve the project. I'm also heavily involved with improv; I've been taking classes and performing for 3 years now. I can think on my feet, react to what's around me, and make bold, committed choices on the fly. I love to play and fully believe that imagination and fun are vital parts of being human. Put me in a booth, and I will and can makes something interesting happen.
