Voice Description

For advertisements I tend to use a deep, almost Americanised accent that sounds confident and upbeat to the listener. For audio E-books I would stick to my normal voice, allowing for clear pronounciation and a no-frills approach.

With cartoons it would depend on the character and what was needed. I could use my own voice, although I could adapt it for older male characters, or add odd pronounciations/accents for odd, quirky characters.

My Voice Experience

My main voiceover work as such is as a singer. I've been writing songs for over 3 years now and released an album worldwide in June titled "North To The Sun".

I have also had some experience in radio, having helped to run "Right Enough Radio", Charleston Academy's radio station for 2 years (2008-2010). I presented mainly break-time shows but also co-presented many of the lunch-time slots with other presenters.

Performed two Panto productions for The Kinmylies Parish Church Holiday Club in 2009 and 2010. I was a supporting cast member in 2009 as a Simon Cowell-esque character. In 2010 I was a starring character as Grandma Watt, and so had to perform with a female, American accent.
